Business Ethics and Conduct

Physician’s Automated Laboratory, Inc.’s basic principles of integrity serve as a path to what is proper in most work situations, regardless of the job at hand.

Personal and professional integrity is and has been our most important attribute.

  • We care not only for the end result but how it is obtained.

  • We are honest and forthright.  We observe all laws and regulations.  But lawful behavior is not quite enough: ethical behavior is our standard.

  • We trust and rely on our instincts to tell us that something is not quite right.

  • Patient, provider, and vendor relations are the cornerstones of our business.  They must be built upon credibility and mutual respect.

  • We demand ethical conduct in all of our activities.

  • We do the right thing.

The continued success of Physician’s Automated Laboratory, Inc. is dependent upon our patient's and client's trust, and we are dedicated to preserving that trust.  Employees are expected to act in a way that will merit the continued trust and confidence of the public, patients, clients, and shareholders.

In general, the use of good judgment, based on high ethical principles will guide you with respect to lines of acceptable conduct.  If a situation arises where it is difficult to determine the proper course of action, the matter should be discussed openly with your immediate supervisor, the Human Resources Department, and, if necessary, the General Manager for advice and consultation.

Compliance with this guideline of business ethics and conduct is the responsibility of every Physician’s Automated Laboratory, Inc. employee.
